Programme Development and Quality Director (PDQ) At Save the Children

THE OPPORTUNITY

The PDQ Director will be based in Caracas (open to national and international candidates), supporting the Country Director. The post-holder will ensure that humanitarian programmes delivered are to the appropriate scale, scope, quality, and accountability expected of Save the Children, incorporate a child focused lens, and mainstream gender, disability and MHPSS. The postholder will be expected to mentor and/or capacity-build both international and national staff colleagues.

The PDQ Director Development will also be expected to play a role in global level technical working groups, working closely with RO and Centre technical advisers on organisational strategy, capacity building, policy, and advocacy initiatives.

To be successful, you will bring/have:

  • Education to MSc/MA/MEng level in a relevant subject or equivalent field experience
  • Project management certification or experience related to organisational development projects
  • Previous, recently, or current experience with Save the Children.
  • Fluent in Spanish (essential)
  • Fluent in English (essential)
