51633 – Humanitarian Action Technician – Support for START Team Coordination (Madrid) At Tragsa Group

Agrarian Transformation Company, SA, SME, MP, parent company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in work related to rural development and nature conservation, seeks to incorporate 1 Humanitarian Action Technician to support the coordination of the START Team in Madrid.

Functions and Tasks

  • Perform the liaison functions between the Humanitarian Aid Office and the organization managing the order, justifying to both the work carried out in the management tasks of the START project in its technical content.
  • Plan the management tasks of the Team and associated technical personnel assigned to the Assignment.
  • Support the Humanitarian Aid Office in the tasks of coordination and dialogue with national and international organizations with which the START Team is or may be directly or indirectly related, updating all documents and standards that are affected by the changes proposed by said organizations or by the Humanitarian Aid Office.
  • Participate and support the coordination of emergency response operations or other interventions designated by the Humanitarian Aid Office.
  • Control the project from an economic point of view, justifying the expenses monthly to the organization managing the order and the Humanitarian Action Office.
  • Collaborate in the preparation and execution of meetings, forums, training sessions, exercises and drills, and support the Humanitarian Action Office in its logistical, diplomatic and administrative management.

Specific Requirements

  • Official training certificate or proof of payment of fees for the issuance of the academic certificate.
  • Work history and/or employment contract that allows verification and accreditation of the required professional experience.
  • Internship annexes that allow you to verify and accredit the academic experience required, if applicable.

Training

Degree

  • Bachelor’s degree, Engineering, Architecture or Degree/Diploma + Official Master’s degree or Doctorate (level 3 or 4MECES) (qualification approved in Spain or equivalency certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities).

Languages

  • English, Minimum Level B2 (the level will be verified during the Selection process).

Previous Experience

  • At least 5 years of work experience in comprehensive management in the areas of humanitarian aid and/or emergency and/or civil protection
  • At least 3 years of work experience in projects related to emergency operations.

Other Essential Requirements

  • Availability of hours to respond to emergencies as well as to travel abroad for short and medium-term periods
  • Type B driving license (valid in Spain)

Previous Experience

  • From 5 years to 15 years of experience in humanitarian aid and/or emergency management and/or civil protection (work experience)
  • From 1 year to 5 years of experience in field hospitals (work experience)
  • From 1 to 5 years of experience working with European funds or European civil protection/emergency/humanitarian/cooperation mechanisms. (Work experience)

  • Offered:
