About GridSample
GridSample is a user-friendly tool that generates household survey sampling units in complex settings using gridded population estimates.
GridSample was developed to improve the accuracy and feasibility of household surveys especially in contexts with outdated census data and sampling frames. GridSample provides updated, detailed gridded population sample frames by utilising gridded population datasets, in particular, the ~100x100m gridded population estimates produced by the WorldPop research group at the University of Southampton, UK.
