ABOUT THE ROLE:

Amnesty International is looking for a Research, Campaign and Communication Assistant (RCCA) to join its Saudi Arabia and Yemen team in our MENA regional office.

The Saudi Arabia and Yemen teams take the lead in initiating human rights research and campaigning for positive change in human rights in those countries. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient and effective administrative systems and procedures. In addition, you will assist in gathering, processing and managing information relevant to the team’s research and campaigning work for the promotion and protection of human rights, as well as contributing to the production of written material. The role will be based in one of our offices in either Beirut, Tunis, or London.

ABOUT YOU:

You will need proven administrative skills, including experience of creating and maintaining administrative systems, along with good organizational, communication and inter-personal skills. You will be able to conduct desk research, fact-check information, and actively monitor and maintain logs on themes and issues as agreed with the team. You will also be at ease coordinating and supporting campaigning and comms work in tandem with your team members. Working in a multicultural environment, you will be part of a team and must be able to work under pressure. You will need to be fluent in English with a good working knowledge of Arabic.
