AAN Associates is looking for a Public Health Expert for an upcoming assignment in the Latin America and Caribbean region. The Public Health Expert is expected to assist the Evaluation Team Lead in delegated assignment management functions such as Literature Review, Evaluation Methodology design, Tools Development, Pre-testing and Finalization, Field Data Collection, Consolidation, Analysis, and Report Writing.

Following are the requirements to apply for the position:

  • Must have a degree in Public Health, Medicine or other related fields with at least a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must have at least 5 years minimum experience relevant to Health, Epidemiology, Public Health Emergencies Health system strengthening or any other related field
  • Prior experience with immunization programmes and health systems in Latin America and the Caribbean is an added asset
  • Ability to write reports clearly and concisely.
  • Fluency (oral and written) in Spanish and English is mandatory, proficiency in French and/or Portuguese would be an added asset.
  • Experience working in the Latin America and Caribbean region (Residents will be preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills to compile and consolidate a variety of inputs and produce concise and easy-to-understand documents
  • Data collection (both quantitative and qualitative) and data analysis experience is plus!
