We are recruiting up to three research roles in the International Economic Development Group (IEDG) The Senior Research Officer, Research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow (depending on experience and competencies) will be responsible for the development and delivery of a portfolio of research and policy advice on one or more of the areas mentioned below ? The portfolio will reflect the strategic priorities of the International Economic Development Group (IEDG).. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from candidates with demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Trade and trade policy (African integration, Aid for Trade, WTO, trade and environment change, digital economy)
- International macro-economics and financial sector development (capital flows, macro-economic policy, economic crises, private investment, climate finance, digital currencies)
- Economic transformation (productivity, industrial policy, structural change, digital technology, green growth)
You will work closely with the Director of Programme and IEDG Researchers and will join an exciting team of researchers working on topical themes relating to trade and economic transformation. You will lead and contribute to policy research and advisory projects, often cross-country and cross-institutional, engage with policy-makers in research and advisory processes and disseminate results. We expect a significant demand for our work on African integration.
