Asistente de Cash-ERD- Consultoria – 2 Meses At International Rescue Committee

CONTEXT:

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people whose lives and livelihoods are affected by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of their future. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC works with people forced to flee war, conflict and disaster and the host communities that support them, as well as those who remain within their homes and communities. At work today in more than 40 countries and 22 US cities, we restore safety, dignity, and hope to millions of people uprooted and struggling to survive. The IRC leads the way in harm to the home.

The IRC worked in El Salvador between 1984 and 1992 during the civil war, and left with the signing of the peace accords. In response to the ongoing violence and dangers in El Salvador, the IRC returned in 2017 to help meet the acute needs of vulnerable communities such as women, girls, adolescents, the LGBTI community, people displaced by violence, and people who return to the country after deportation. This program uses innovative approaches to deliver humanitarian programming, primarily through a partnership approach with local civil society organizations, as well as the Government of El Salvador.
