Know our team

Nutrition International’s Corporate Services (CS) unit is a dedicated team of Finance and Administrative experts with extensive global experience. The unit leads on providing global Accounting, Finance, Budget, and Compliance, Contracting and Procurement, Facilities management, and Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT). Currently, Nutrition International is seeking applications for a Records Officer to be based in Ottawa, Canada.

About you

You are someone with a community college diploma in Library and Information Management, Office Administration or Records Management. You have at least 3 years’ experience. You are experienced in SharePoint and FileTrail and demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills.

Fluency in English is required. French will be considered an asset.

About the role

The overall purpose of the position is the organization and life cycle management of corporate information including electronic information and physical records.

In this role you will:

  • Undertake all aspects of records management functions including file creation, security, circulation tracking, maintenance, retrieval, storage, archiving and destruction.
  • Catalogue, organize, track and maintain Reference Library Collection, processes Library Acquisition requests.
  • Conducts digitization projects to support Nutrition International’s transition to paperless record keeping.
  • Undertake aspects of electronic information management on the organization’s MS SharePoint site, including metadata tagging, retention schedules, security, and quality control of the digital records room.
