Terms of Reference

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Build and manage business dashboards in PowerBI or Tableau and report on various business issues to relevant stakeholders providing appropriate analysis and conclusions
• Produce and distribute comprehensive reports analyzing data and highlighting key areas of interest
• Carry out statistical analysis of dataset in projects where required
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems

Team and Reporting Structure

• Reports to Director of Programs
• Works in close consultation with the programs team based in Islamabad

Qualifications/Skills

• Master’s degree from a reputable university in a relevant subject
• 3+ years experience working with data and conducting full-fledged analyses
• The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to improve businesses and solve problems, and has an insane focus on excellence, and a strong alignment with our core values: delight, test, impact and unleash
• Ability to derive solid and straight forward hypotheses and conclusions from the data and to present it in a structured and clear way
• Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and passionate to work with large sets of data
• Must be process oriented and a logical thinker with a good attention to detail
• Experience working with multiple Business Intelligence tools, building reports and dashboards
• Passionate about learning new technologies and working on a product of massive scale and impact
• Ideal background to include BS in Data Science and MS in business or a similar background with the mix of both skills
• Experience working within the technology industry/start-up environment is highly desirable
• Ideally have knowledge working in SQL, R or Python
