In order to efficiently communicate with a variety of users, you are expected to be expert at writing for both technical and non-technical audiences. You are also responsible for continuously improving content to ensure users have the best possible experience with a changing digital product.

Terms of Reference

• Creative direction and digital strategy advice for social media and audio based campaigns.
• Script writing for data collection and social and behavior change content (both audio & visual content).
• Helping convene specialists to execute digital and audio based communications campaigns.
• Overseeing successful execution of media rich campaigns.
• Leading content creation workshops with clients.
• Ensuring content created and developed are as per partner needs and requirements.
• Helping support client meetings when relevant or deemed necessary.
• Creating evidenced-backed communications campaigns (when possible)
• Supporting the creation of evidence-based survey tools to help inform content creation.
• Media landscape reviews and mapping.

Team and Reporting Structure

• Reports to Director of Programs
• Works in close consultation with the programs team based in Islamabad

Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
• 3+ years of demonstrated excellence in content writing
• Ability to understand and convey the nuances of behavior change in a compelling manner
• Demonstrated understanding and experience of working in key thematic areas of development (Health, Routine Immunization, Family Planning, COVID-19, Education, Agriculture, Financial Inclusion, Gender Empowerment, Governance, Youth Development)
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Ability to deliver high quality content and pay attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding general knowledgy
