The SCM is looking forward to receiving proposals from 12 journalists working inside Syria to conduct training on data journalism and produce six joint investigative journalism pieces in Arabic on common problems or challenges, and address them with data journalism.
- The proposal should be no more than one page, including:
- Names of journalists (two or more).
- Project title
- A work plan including the timeframe required to complete the investigation (not exceeding six months).
- Coverage areas (must include two different areas)
- Project goal.
- Journalists must attend a special training course on data journalism in Damascus (the SCM fully covers the training attendees’ costs ).

The Syrian Center for Media and Freedoms is seeking proposals from 12 journalists working inside Syria to undergo training on data journalism and produce six joint investigative media reports in Arabic on common problems or challenges and address them using data journalism. Therefore:
- The proposal should not exceed one page, including:
the names of journalists (two or more).- Project title
- A work plan that outlines the timeframe required to complete the journalistic investigation (not to exceed six months).
- Coverage areas (must include two different areas)
- Project objective.
- Journalists are required to attend a special training course on data journalism in Damascus (the costs of attending the training are fully covered by the center).
