Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization fighting world hunger. Its charter of humanitarian principles—independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, and transparency—has been its foundation for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of malnutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflict and natural disasters. Mission :
Under the supervision of the Regional Finance Manager, Middle East Pool, your mission will be to ensure the proper accounting and budgetary management of the countries making up the Region.
In this context, your responsibilities will be to:
Provide technical support in financial management to the countries
Ensure the quality of budgetary management of the countries
Guarantee the accounting compliance of the countries
Contribute to the action plans of the Region, Operations and the development of financial management frameworks and policies

Profile :
You have a Bac+3 level qualification in accounting, financial management, or from a business school, with at least 2 years of experience in these fields.
You are familiar with the principles, rules and procedures of general and cost accounting, budget and treasury management, as well as the contractual rules of donors in financial management.
Financial knowledge of the humanitarian sector is an asset.
Ideally, you are informed about institutional donors, the recommendations of auditors, ACF accounting and financial management data and procedures (head office and field), current events, the financial structure, budgets and strategies of ACF missions.
You are proficient in SAGA and UBW software as well as the Office Pack (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
You must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Conditions of employment
Status: Integrated Executive – 6-month fixed-term contract until 12/31/2025 – Full time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Remuneration: From 37K to 44K euros gross per year over 13 months depending on experience
Benefits: 25 days per year of paid leave and 21 days of RTT
