Project manager in Sudan At OVCI la Nostra Famiglia

Main responsabilities:
Manage the planning and implementation of all the activities envisaged by the project, including:

  • Coordination of the local project team and expatriate staff
  • Health training;
  • Educational integration activities for children with disabilities in mainstream schools and job placement for young people with disabilities;
  • Awareness-raising activities aimed at the community;
  • Strengthening and empowerment activities of Sudanese Civil Society Organizations;
  • Financial plan management and reporting to donors

Maintain and strengthen the relationship with the donor and with local partners.

Keep a timely administration of the project following the donor’s directions and requests.

Maintain and / or create the political-institutional relations necessary for the correct development of the project and the involvement of the counterparties considered fundamental for its sustainability (competent ministries, local authorities, local communities).

Attend meetings with Institutions, Local Associations, etc

Requisites:

  • Previous experience in the management of development cooperation projects
  • Excellent management, coordination and supervision skills
  • Ability to plan resources in order to achieve goals within the expected timeframe
  • Ability to manage relationships with counterparties directly involved in the activity
  • Excellent English level (written and spoken)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package

The following will be considered preferential:

  • High organizational skills
  • Ability to work in teams and by goals
  • Work experience with people with disabilities
