Ukraine Crisis Response (UCR) – Cash and Food/NFI Assistance Officer At World Vision

Since the conflict in Ukraine started, our teams have been on the ground assessing and responding to the urgent needs of those searching for safety. We are currently scaling up our multi-country response across three countries (Moldova, Romania, and Ukraine) and are recruiting for many key positions that will make a direct impact on the lives of people who have been caught up in conflict.

Here’s where you come in:

As the Cash and Food/NFI Assistance Officer for the Ukraine Crisis Response, you will manage all food/Non-food items (NFIs) and ensure all food and Non-food Items Assistance is implemented in line with the set World Vision International standards, donor standards and requirements and all set objectives are met. Emphasis will be on quality and accountability of the programming.

Requirements include:

  • Master degree in Computer Sciences, Economics, Agriculture, Food Security, advanced studies in enterprise development or social sciences.
  • Extensive exposure to food aid programs management (minimum 5 years) preferably with international experience.
  • Demonstrated 3-4 years of experience in food security programmes preferably with an International NGO in same capacity; and a minimum of 2-year experience on Cash transfers based program.
  • Adequate knowledge and experience in food aid programs and donors standards appropriate to the management of the food programs.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Must be willing to travel and a flexible approach to living conditions.
  • Position requires willingness to travel in the project implementation areas.
