Podcast Production – Climate Episode- Jordan
Background
ActionAid is a global movement of people working together to promote human rights and eradicate poverty. As part of its advocacy efforts around climate justice, ActionAid is seeking the services of a professional production company to produce one podcast episode focused on climate-related issues in the region. This episode will contribute to raising awareness and amplifying the voices of marginalized communities impacted by the climate crisis.
Objective
To produce a high-quality, 15-minute Arabic-language podcast episode—featuring a host and guest provided by ActionAid—on climate justice. The episode should include English subtitles, basic branded graphics, and be optimized for social media dissemination.
Scope of Work
The selected production company will be responsible for:
• Participating in pre-production planning meetings with ActionAid’s team
• Organizing the studio setup and recording (either in their studio or on ActionAid’s premises)
• Audio and video recording of one podcast episode (~15 minutes)
• Editing the episode, including:
– Arabic audio polishing
– English subtitle integration
– Basic branded graphics (intro, lower thirds, outro)
• Delivering the final version in a high-quality format suitable for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook
Deliverables
• One fully edited and subtitled podcast episode (approx. 15 minutes)
• Arabic-language audio with embedded English subtitles
• Basic visual branding package (intro/outro graphics, name cards)
• Final master files delivered in MP4 (video) and MP3 (audio) formats
Timeline
Production and recording: August 2025
Final delivery: Within two weeks after the recording date
Location of Shoot
The recording will take place in Jordan. The specific location will be agreed upon between ActionAid and the production company (either in a partner studio or ActionAid’s venue in Jordan).

• Topic brief and script direction
• Selection and coordination of guest and host
• On-site coordination during the shoot
• Timely feedback on drafts and deliverables
Budget
The total budget allocated for this production is USD 1,000, inclusive of all pre-production, production, and post-production costs.
