The Overseas National Directorate employs nearly 650 people across 6 territories (the Antilles, French Guiana, Réunion, Mayotte, New Caledonia, and French Polynesia) in 40 facilities, centers, and services.
The Antilles Territorial Directorate manages 22 facilities in the territories of Martinique, Guadeloupe, the Northern Islands (Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy), and the Southern Islands (La Désirade and Marie-Galante). These establishments intervene in several fields: addiction, exclusion, the elderly, early childhood, and asylum seekers.
In Saint-Martin, under the interim management of the establishments, 27 employees work with vulnerable populations in the medical-social, exclusion, and early childhood sectors.
The CEGIDD is composed of a coordinating physician and a registered nurse. The CEGIDD receives vulnerable populations. The main activity consists of conducting screening and pregnancy tests, and carrying out preventive health and education procedures. It also carries out consultations and supports beneficiaries’ pathways towards contraception and abortion.

Purpose of the position:
Under the direct authority of the Territorial Director of the Northern Islands, contribute through your actions to the caring quality of care for beneficiaries, in conjunction with the teams of the Health division: CSAPA and CEGIDD.
Main missions:
1) Manage and develop the medical activity of the CSAPA and CEGIDD structures:
2) Contribute to the definition and implementation of the establishment project in conjunction with management:
Ensure the quality of care and alert on the measures to be implemented
â–  Develop with the care team, the general care project, integrated into the establishment project, and coordinate and evaluate its implementation
â–  Evaluate and validate the state of dependency of the beneficiaries and their care needs
â–  Carry out medical prescriptions for the beneficiaries in the event of an emergency situation
3) Lead and manage the medical and paramedical staff in conjunction with management
Provide medical expertise to the entire multidisciplinary team
Ensure the organization of continuity of care
Record in the business software the elements necessary for monitoring the file and the correct rating of the activity
4) Contribute to the quality approach and risk management
5) Participate in the optimization of resources
Complete the medical file and transmit useful information for the administrative monitoring of beneficiaries, while respecting medical confidentiality
6) Contribute to the quality approach and risk management
Participate in the development of protocols and procedures and ensure their implementation
Ensure compliance with recommendations for good professional practices, vigilance and health standards
Report adverse events and promote the risk management approach
Manage the certification process
7) Participate in prevention, screening and health education actions

General medical diploma required.

2 years of experience in a CEGIDD

Experience in the field of addiction desired

Spoken English, Spanish and Creole are a plus
