Since the conflict in Ukraine started, our teams have been on the ground assessing and responding to the urgent needs of those searching for safety. We are currently scaling up our multi-country response across three countries (Moldova, Romania, and Ukraine) and are recruiting for many key positions that will make a direct impact on the lives of people who have been caught up in conflict.
Here’s where you come in:
As the Grants Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the USAID/BHA grant budget is being used according to what was programmed/agreed upon and that the overall grant financial reports are accurate and timely done and sent to the donor, both World Vision (WV) and implementing partner´s financial information. In addition, you will guarantee that financial actions comply with the donor requirement, assist with overall program budgeting and ensure the operational plan is funded.
Major responsibilities include:
- Grants/Projects Financial Management and Reporting
- Risk Management: Office in compliance with WVI policies, donor’s regulations and reduced grants risk exposure.
- Team Management: Staff capacity built for effective grants implementation.
- Safety and Security responsibilities
Requirements Include:
- Must have at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of practical experience in humanitarian related work.
- Experience working with communities and local governments, INGOs, donors and other key internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong competency in proposal & report writing, monitoring and budgeting skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, people management, coaching, mentoring, and team building skills.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and work extensively – sometimes at short notice, in difficult places and under long hours – according to a results-based approach
