Functions and Tasks:

This staff’s primary role will be to provide detailed oversight of the program’s economic, administrative, and financial aspects, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance. Their main responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of the program’s overall budget, ensuring its proper distribution and execution, both for the activities carried out directly by AECID (Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation) and for each of the program’s various beneficiary partners.
  • Technical and administrative support to beneficiary members in the proper management of allocated funds, justification processes, and problem resolution.
  • Preparation of financial reports and justification of financial records for the assignment and those relating to the program before the EU contribution agreement.
  • Proposals to optimize economic control tools, with a focus on financial planning and risk resolution
  • Support the administrative, financial, and economic monitoring of the assignment, particularly in the measurements for the production of certifications and general budget monitoring.
  • Any other activity linked to the objective of supporting technical supervision and economic monitoring of the project

Specific Requirements

  • Official degree certificate or proof of payment for the degree application or academic certificate of completed studies (including the Final Project).
  • Work history and/or employment contract that allows verification and accreditation of the required experience.
  • Internship annexes that allow you to verify and accredit the academic experience required, if applicable.

Formación:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree + Official Master’s degree, Diploma or Degree in the branches of social and legal sciences (degree recognized in Spain or equivalency certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities).

Languages:

  • English, Minimum Level B2 (the level will be verified during the Selection process).

Previous Experience:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in management and implementation of development cooperation projects.

Merits (Valorables):

  • Master’s Degree in Development Cooperation
  • Course on Public Sector Contracting Law

Languages:

  • English Level: C1

Previous Experience:

  • Work experience in the management and implementation of international cooperation projects in Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
  • Work experience in execution and/or monitoring and control of Delegated Cooperation interventions with European funds
  • Work experience in the regulation of subsidies and aid in the field of international cooperation
  • Work experience in implementation and management of regional programs

Observations:

Offered:

– Fixed-term contract with an estimated duration of 29 months, associated with the execution of the assignment detailed in the publication for the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan or with financing from European Union funds.

– Full journey.
