The USAID-funded Clean Cities Blue Ocean (CCBO) project in the USA, implemented by Tetra Tech International Development, is currently accepting expressions of interest for SBC Formative Research Consultant. This position will be located in Iloilo, Philippines.
The SBC Formative Research Consultant will work with the CCBO Asia Regional SBC Manager to perform data analysis, interpretation and report writing in relation to their SBC formative research activity. The assignment will be completed between August 20, 2022, and September 30, 2022
Responsibilities:
*Create the electronic database with data entry form for the household interview responses, e.g. Kobo online tools, Google Forms, SPSS, any other database or statistical software with form creation and data entry features. Note: encoding will be done by LGU staff).
* Perform the data analysis, discussion, and interpretation
* LGU SBC team to generate the conclusions and recommendations
Qualifications:
* Minimum master’s degree in social science or other fields related to the scope of the assignment.
* At least five years of work experience performing as a research specialist performing data analysis, interpretation and report writing
* Preferably has work experience in the field of collaborating with stakeholders related to marine litter, waste management, and plastic waste issues.
* Excellent English writing, and analytical skills.
* Provide at least two samples of previous research reports written
* Advanced proficiency in speaking and writing in English.
