Contract Duration: 10/2022-09/2023 (83 man days)

Payment: according to budget rate

Position:

  • Overall management and oversight of operations taking place in PIN Lebanon
  • Frequent field visits to project sites to assess activities and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Representation of the project in internal coordination meetings and within external working groups,
  • Assessment of the quality of the project and satisfaction of beneficiaries through evaluation surveys
  • Ensure that the proposed activities and interventions are relevant and meet the area and beneficiary needs, and ensure their coordination and complementarity amongst other projects and actors in the area of intervention
  • Ensure that PIN Slovakia has an up-to-date understanding of the area’s socio-economic situation, trends, needs and gaps, and who does what and where (3W)
  • Identify new opportunities, new sectors of intervention and new local partners
  • Establish, maintain, and improve active and regular working relationships with local authorities and where necessary non-state actors
  • Ensure that PIN Slovakia is represented in key clusters, working groups, NGO coordination bodies, etc. at area level

Required education, qualification and skills:

  • Bachelor degree in management or other relevant fields of studies
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in managerial positions, work in a humanitarian context is an asset
  • Experience to work in challenging and dynamic environment
  • Fluency in Arabic and good knowledge English language
  • Knowledge of the community and beneficiaries
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solving skills
  • Organisational and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, and flexibility in cultural and organizational terms
  • Ability to work well and punctually under pressure
  • Ability to respond quickly to requests of the field deployment
