Digital Inclusion Coordinator At International Rescue Committee

POSTION OVERVIEW: Under the supervision of the Education Program Manager, the Digital Inclusion Coordinator is responsible to administer existing digital inclusion programming. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring access to affordance internet service and hardware for newly arrived refugees, coordinating digital skills training, active participation in the Utah Communities Connect (UC) coalition, and the management of the Technology Squad volunteer program that matches refugees with a volunteer to offer guidance on modern technology through utilizing an existing curriculum. The Digital Inclusion Coordinator will ensure that quality practices are implemented, program outcomes are met, policies/procedures are followed, and reports are completed. This position will also participate in the development of new program areas to enhance clients understanding and use of digital tools, curriculum development, partnership management, and staff training.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:

· Ensure that the Digital Inclusion Programs consistently meet all established core resettlement services and grant outcomes as well as internal benchmarks established by IRC senior management including documentation, case files, data tracking, client influence, and other areas of administrative compliance.

· Provide supervision to direct service staff by providing ongoing individual supervision, coaching and goal setting, managing workload, and helping staff troubleshoot challenges.

· Supervise, support, and regularly communicate with volunteers, AmeriCorps members and interns to carry out youth program services.

· Maintain and developing partner relationships internet companies, community partners, funders, and internal IRC RAI Community of Practice through reoccurring meetings, resource sharing, collaborative initiatives, and program data tracking. Specifically Engage in Utah’s Community Connect (UCC): Utah’s Digital Alliance sub-committee’s monthly meetings and quarterly digital equity events.

· Develop a cohesive strategy across IRC SLC programming, including in health access, economic wellbeing services, and entrepreneurship with accompanying staff training.

· Develop digital literacy curriculum, both as standalone offerings and within existing IRC SLC programming, to support advanced digital skills building that will help individuals prepare for mainstream service and education resources.

· Maintain up to date, timely and complete data tracking in Salesforce, ETO and other databases.

· Maintain ongoing communication with the Education Program Manager on status of youth programs, work collaboratively on program design and provide timely reports on management issues.

· Participate in all staff meetings, trainings, office support, reception coverage and other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Undergraduate degree required.

· At least three years of professional experience with not-for-profit and/or youth experience or equivalent work experience.

· At least 2 years of experience supervising staff preferred.

· Excellent English written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.

· Strong relationship building, diplomacy, and networking skills; ability to effectively build internal and external relationships.

· Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills combined with the proven ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to use the internet and other digital tools for data entry, research, and problem-solving purposes.

· Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.

· Previous multi-cultural experience and proven ability to communicate well with people from diverse backgrounds strongly preferred.

· Ability to lift 35+ lbs. safely.

· Valid driver’s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle.

Working Environment:**

· Standard office environment with regular participation in community outreach and events.

· May require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
