The Institute for Integrated Transition is currently seeking a freelance designer to support on upcoming projects involving branding, digital assets and publications.
Who we are
Headquartered in Barcelona, the Institute for Integrated Transitions (IFIT) is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to helping fragile and conflict-affected states achieve more sustainable negotiations and transitions out of war or authoritarianism. IFIT’s core work is to serve as an expert resource on integrated policy solutions for locally-led efforts to break cycles of conflict or repression.
Engagement: Fully remote, part-time/assignments, immediate availability.
📌 Service Scope May Include:
- Create professional layouts for reports and publications (digital and print)
- Develop branding, logos and visual identity materials
- Creative design for social media campaigns and digital communications
- Translate complex technical content into clear, accessible visuals for diverse audiences.
✨ What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a graphic or publication designer, preferably with NGOs, think tanks, or research organisations.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Strong understanding of design for both print and digital formats.
- Exceptional attention to detail, layout, and typography.
- Ability to translate technical content into clear, engaging visuals.
- Strong communication skills in English. Spanish or Arabic a plus
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and deliver high-quality work quickly.
