Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee the implementation of project activities, focusing on ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards. This includes direct supervision of project activities, ensuring their timely completion, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee technical activities during project implementation, ensuring they are aligned with project goals and objectives.
• Participate in the implementation of all project activities, working closely with the project team to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Follow the project work plan to ensure that activities are progressing according to schedule.
• Prepare and submit timely reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to the line manager and program management, detailing all project activities, progress, and any issues that arise.
• Attend project coordination meetings with partners involved in the implementation process to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Participate in project planning and collect relevant data to inform decision-making.
• Monitor the daily work of the project, documenting all activities and progress.
• Inform the line manager and program manager of any issues that may arise that could impact project implementation.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the line manager to ensure successful project implementation.
• Create reports and evaluations.
• Provide Technical Guidance and Consulting
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, architectural, electrical, or a related field of engineering.
• At least four years of relevant engineering experience in areas such as studies, implementation, or supervision.
• At least three years of experience in a humanitarian context.
• English language proficiency at B1 level.
• Technical and engineering knowledge.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of regulations and laws.
• Attention to detail and quality.
