Mission :

Under the supervision of the Country Director, you will coordinate Action Against Hunger’s (ACF) interventions for the Bouar and Ngaoundaye bases.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating the implementation of ACF’s country strategy in your area of ​​operation;
Coordinating all program implementations in the field;
Managing the teams in your area of ​​operation: direct management of 5 staff members;
Facilitating positive relationships with the coordination teams;
Representing ACF and maintaining relationships with partners, authorities, UN agencies, and NGOs in your area of ​​operation;
Ensuring reporting and communication; and
Managing the safety and security of the base.

Profile :

You hold a graduate degree in humanitarian sciences, social sciences, management, or a related field.
You have at least three years of experience in the humanitarian NGO sector, including experience in managing humanitarian/emergency programs and in team leadership, coaching, and training. Experience with ACF is an asset.
You possess strong management skills and the ability to coordinate and plan a national program, represent ACF externally, and position its operations in relation to identified humanitarian issues.
You are proficient in the project cycle and Microsoft Office.
Organized, rigorous, punctual, and concise, you are able to analyze, anticipate, take initiative, and solve problems.
You have excellent communication and writing skills in both French and English.

National applications: in accordance with the ACF RCA national criteria

International Applications:
Fixed-term contract under French law: 6 months.
Gross monthly salary: €2,597 to €2,968 depending on experience, including a 13th-month bonus.
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary.
Base salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract.
Monthly per diem and living expenses: €746 net, paid on-site.
Monthly context allowance: €450.
Child allowance: €1,500 per year per child present in the country of origin (capped at €6,000/year).
Transportation and accommodation: Travel and shared accommodation provided.
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health insurance contributions and repatriation insurance, and medical expenses for up to one month after the end of your contract.
Salary maintenance provisions (illness, maternity, paternity).
Leave and R&R: 25 days per year. 20 CP and 20 RnR per year; coverage of the ticket with a maximum limit to travel to the chosen break zone, and a flat-rate allowance of 215 euros per RnR.
