CWCN is looking for a communicator with a strong IT and journalistic background.
A communicator for CWCN is fluent in transforming CWCNs ideas, strategies and works into an easily understandable contents in the form of text and media. We are seeking a person who can create contents that promote the profile of CWCN and inspire the internal and external audiences to engage in the mission of CWCN. We believe that people are inspired and influenced by emotions and logic and a communicator in CWCN will passionately and enthusiastically communicates with our audience by producing contents that leaves unending impacts on the lives of children and people who work around them. We are looking for an excellent storyteller but also a great listener.
Duties and responsibilities
A Communicator will write easy-to-understand and appealing contents in the website and social media of CWCN. He/she will design ways to bring out the success stories of CWCN to general public, donors and other stakeholders. He/she will support our staffs in writing reports which are accurate, balanced and credible. He/she listens to the ideas of CWCN boards, stakeholders, staffs and beneficiaries and transform their ideas and information to an appealing project proposal. You will use, photos, films and texts to convey the message. You will lead the communication work of CWCN.
Who are you?
You have worked as journalist in English newspaper or worked as communicator in the past
You have worked in online platform and have very good knowledge about Microsoft tools most importantly SharePoint. You have written contents for websites and social media.
You have written reports and project proposals for NGOs.
You have studied media and communication in the university level.
You are fluent writer and speaker both in Nepali and English language.
