About the Project:
With the support of UNHCR, PATRIR is creating physical, mobile, and online protection support hubs for the Ukrainian Community in Central and Northern Romania. PATRIR already has physical hubs in Cluj and Sighisoara and is supporting the community center created by ROUA in Baia Mare. These hubs are offering legal advice, economic inclusion, psychosocial support, as well as community relations and engagement activities for the Ukrainian Community; with an emphasis on advocating for their self-reliance and creating a platform for them to have a voice at the local to national level. The project also practices deep listening of those who are servicing and supporting the Ukrainian community such as NGOs, CSOs and LGAs in order to understand how we can support and encourage them in their efforts.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Ensure that the supply chain is efficient and effective throughout our organization
– Organize, store and monitor the distribution of goods
– Procurement planning
– Assist in purchasing of goods and services
– Maintain, record and update standard operating procedures
– Coordinate resources
Your Profile
You are highly motivated and proactive – someone who cares about doing their work well and making a positive impact in our community, nationally or internationally through your engagement. You are well organized and able to manage, coordinate, plan and implement well with others. You are a people person – you care about and like working with people. You combine vision and purpose-driven engagement with practically and the ability to work effectively. We particularly encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds.
Requirements:
– Ability to work in the EU
– Drivers license
– Proficient in English – advanced level (spoken-written-read);
– Experience in the field or relevant areas of at least 1 year;
– Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
– Availability to travel
– Ability to work under pressure and with strict deadlines;
– Balanced, organized and responsible person;
