About the program:

With the support of UNHCR, PATRIR is creating physical, mobile, and online protection support hubs for the Ukrainian Community in Central and Northern Romania. PATRIR already has physical hubs in Cluj and Sighisoara and is supporting the community center created by ROUA in Baia Mare. These hubs are offering legal advice, economic inclusion, psychosocial support, as well as community relations and engagement activities for the Ukrainian Community; with an emphasis on advocating for their self-reliance and creating a platform for them to have a voice at the local to national level. The project also practices deep listening of those who are servicing and supporting the Ukrainian community such as NGOs, CSOs and LGAs in order to understand how we can support and encourage them in their efforts.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

– Primary accounting for the project;

– Budget execution situations of the project;

– Situations related to the financial reporting of the project;

– Supervision of partners from Baia Mare;

– Verification of budget execution of partners;

– Verification of financial reporting of partners;

Your Profile

You are highly motivated and proactive – someone who cares about doing their work well and making a positive impact in our community, nationally or internationally through your engagement. You are well organized and able to manage, coordinate, plan and implement well with others. You are a people person – you care about and like working with people. You combine vision and purpose-driven engagement with practically and the ability to work effectively. We particularly encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements:

– Romanian citizenship;

– Proficient in English – advanced level (spoken-written-read);

– Degree in Economic Sciences;

– Experience in accounting of at least 1 year;

– Microsoft Office user (Excel);

– Availability to travel in the country (occasionally);

– Used to deadlines;

– Balanced, organized and responsible person;

Ability to work in the EU is a must

You must already be able to work in the EU / Romania for this position. We are not able to recruit candidates who do not fulfill this requirement.
