Mobile Team Assistant

Job summary:
Under the supervision of the safe space supervisor, the activity room is prepared and equipped to conduct the sessions, with active participation in facilitating all sessions according to the approved work plan, with the aim of contributing to achieving effective and sustainable results for the project.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Managing dialogue during focused discussion sessions, with effective role distribution to ensure the sessions run smoothly and achieve their objectives.
- Maintain continuous communication with the field supervisor to monitor the progress of work and ensure its implementation according to the approved plan.
- Prepare a summary of the sessions that includes the main points from the facilitator’s point of view.
- Coordination with the psychological support worker to develop alternative plans that suit different age groups, ensuring that the content of the sessions is adapted to the needs of the participants.
- Ensuring the hall is logistically ready and suitable for conducting sessions safely and comfortably.
- Contribute to the preparation of session reports and submit them on time to the center supervisor.
Communication, coordination, and other tasks:
- Participating in emergency response activities for displaced persons, including conducting psychological first aid sessions.
- Actively contributing to all activities and initiatives implemented inside or outside the center, including awareness and community campaigns.
- Full commitment to protection and preservation policies, code of conduct, and the principle of doing no harm.
- Basic requirements:
- High school diploma or university degree in social work, community development, gender, or any related field.
- Practical experience in fieldwork or awareness-raising is an advantage.
- Desired requirements:
- Good knowledge of protection and empowerment issues for women and girls.
- Effective communication skills with different groups.
- The ability to work within a team and move around the field.
- Good documentation and organizational skills
- Previous experience in GBV, PSS or Community Empowerment programs.
- Experience in providing awareness sessions or short training sessions for beneficiaries.
- High sensitivity towards issues of gender-based violence and the privacy of beneficiaries.
- A spirit of initiative and teamwork.
