Role Overview:
The Finance Volunteer will Assist in Scanning, organizing and archiving financial documentation, support the finance team in end of year Local Audit, Partners reports Archiving and review and Project phase out archive ,in accordance with Action Aid policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Activities
- Support in Filing and Archiving (Scanning, Filing, and Labeling)
- Support in Audit Process
- Assist in Expenses and income Account Mapping and breakdown for Audit purposes.
- Arranging Documents for Audit Trail
- Assist in the project Phase Out Archiving
- Mapping the asset list with the project invoices /Expenses Vouchers.
- Assist in preparing for the project phase out Archive from the beginning of the project.
- Partners Financial Report Support
- Organizing and arranging partner financial reporting documents and submitting them for Finance Focal Point Review
- Translation for Partner reports and documents.
Person Specification (QUALIFICATIONS ):
Preferable bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Management, Economics or equivalent
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- 0-1 years’ experience in accounting/finance or any other related field.
- Experience in the NGO sector preferred.
- Experience in the Finance partnership preferred.
- Proven ability to handle a workload and multi-task to meet deadlines.
- Organized and accurate.
- Understanding of financial systems and procedures
- Understanding of computerized accounts packages, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Written and verbal in Arabic & English
