CBM Christoffel-Blindenmission Christian Blind Mission e.V. (CBM) is looking on behalf of Bangladeshi “Centre for Disability in Development (CDD)” for an experienced professional to develop, validate, and operationalize a community-based disability inclusive Anticipatory Action Protocol (DiAAP) on Flood for Jatrapur Union, Bangladesh, based on impact-based forecasting, that enables timely, equitable, coordinated, accountable, and rights-based anticipatory actions, with particular attention to persons with disabilities and other at-risk groups. The consultancy shall convene in March/ April 2026 and last for apx. 40 working days.
About the Project:
The project “**Anticipate, Include, Act: Strengthening Community Resilience in Kurigram (AIASCR)”,**implemented by CDD and funded by CBM, aims to develop a community-based disability inclusive Anticipatory Action Protocol (DiAAP) on Flood for Jatrapur Union, considering the National Early Action Protocol (NEAP) for Monsoon Riverine Flood in Bangladesh
The overall objective of this consultancy is to develop, validate, and operationalize a community-based disability inclusive Anticipatory Action Protocol (DiAAP) on Flood for Jatrapur Union based on impact-based forecasting, that enables timely, equitable, coordinated, accountable, and rights-based anticipatory actions, with particular attention to persons with disabilities and other at-risk groups.
