Mission :

Under the supervision of the SMSP Operational Technical Lead – West and Southern Africa Pool and France Mission, you will be responsible for strengthening the technical capacities of partners and local teams, developing SMSP expertise within programs, and supporting teams in their onboarding and the implementation of interventions in accordance with international standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Strengthening the capacities of Action Against Hunger staff and partners through training and technical supervision in SMSP

Support the implementation of SMSP components of projects.
Contribute to the integration of specific expertise into the strategy and positioning of the SMSP technical department.

Profile :

You hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
You have at least 5 years of experience in post-psychological and psychological services (PSMS) in humanitarian or development contexts, including experience in training, supervising, or supporting local teams, as well as in project management.
You are familiar with monitoring and evaluation tools, WHO tools (PM+, mhGAP, PFA, community interventions), and you are proficient in the IASC MHPSS international standards.
You are capable of designing and implementing PSMS needs and resource assessments, as well as psychological and psychosocial interventions. You have the ability to design and deliver participatory training, facilitate supervision, and create or adapt PSMS SOPs and protocols.
Your analytical, synthesis, communication, and leadership skills enable you to manage PSMS information and reports, collaborate with other sectors, while ensuring access to and compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards in PSMS.
You are fluent in written and spoken English.

Employment conditions

Fixed-term contract under French law: 5 months.
Gross monthly salary: €2,597 to €2,968 depending on experience, including a 13th-month bonus.
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary.
Specific multi-country posting allowance: 15% of gross monthly salary.
Base salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract.
Per diem and monthly living expenses paid in the field (depending on the work location: Mozambique or Ivory Coast).
Child allowance: €1,500 per year per child present in the country of origin (capped at €6,000/year).
Transport and accommodation: Travel and shared accommodation provided.
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health insurance contributions and repatriation insurance, your medical expenses (as well as those of your dependents if a family-based position) for up to 1 month after the end of your contract.

Leave and RnR: 25 days of paid leave per year and 20 RnR days per year; travel expenses covered up to a maximum limit to reach the chosen break zone, and a flat-rate allowance of €215 per RnR.

Field travel: Country offices in Mozambique and Ivory Coast.
