Here’s where you come in:

As the Country Program Director for World Vision Dominican Republic, you will ensure national relevance and impact through the implementation of programming, advocacy and sustainability and also ensure organisational alignment to global strategy and regional priorities. This position collaborates and coordinates with the Cluster Director, advisory council and team, all aspects of World Vision Ministry in the Dominican Republic.

You will be responsible for co-leading and strengthening the team (with the participation of the Cluster Director and team), especially its leadership, for appropriate and timely decision-making and risk & opportunities identification and management.

Requirements include:

• Master’s degree in Sustainability, Marketing, Development or similar.
• Sound and proven experience fund raising with ambitious targets.
• Sound and proven experience in programming and business.
• Experience working with external partners in a local context.
• Experience in combining slow and fast onset programs. Ability to juggle emergency response with long-term transformational development.
• High level of professional and technical spoken and written Spanish and English.
• The position requires the ability and willingness to travel nationally and/or internationally up to 20% of the time.
