Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles—independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, and transparency—has defined its identity for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around seven areas of activity: Nutrition and Health; Mental Health and Psychosocial Support; Food Security and Livelihoods; Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene; Advocacy; Climate; and Research. Mission :
We are looking for an intern capable of providing support through the following tasks:
Support for the deployment of the donor relations strategy:
Provide support to the entire Donor Relations team in implementing the donor relations strategy;
Contribute to the daily management of donor relations;
Manage the donation data entry provider;
Monitor the processing of the association’s fundraising;
Organize and participate in regular meetings with the data entry provider;
Coordinate exchanges with internal contributors;
Communicate with the various departments involved in processing donations (Marketing Department, etc.);
Manage donor relations support providers; Support
the monitoring of the routing provider (processing of tax receipts);
Monitor call and email relay services;
Contribute to the management and logging of exchanges with donors;
Work closely with the donor relations support officer;
Improve the practices of the Donor Relations Department;
Ensure compliance with department procedures;
Contribute to optimizing donation management and monitoring practices;
Propose areas for improvement for greater operational efficiency;
Participate in the creation and Updating administrative tools and donor support materials (FAQs, questionnaires, letters).
Contributing to expatriate debriefings to gather feedback and improve responses to donors.
Benchmarking, Monitoring, and Innovation:
Conducting monitoring of new tools and practices in donor relations;
participating in internal and external benchmarking;
contributing to discussions on the evolution and innovation of donor relations practices.
Profile :
We are looking for a candidate who shares our commitment and possesses the following qualities:
You are in higher education such as BTS or IUT in sales techniques, sales administration or marketing, and you have knowledge of customer relations.
You are known for your excellent interpersonal skills and listening abilities, and you know how to build trust with the various stakeholders in your area.
You demonstrate initiative and autonomy, you are comfortable managing several activities simultaneously, and you are appreciated for your organizational skills.
You have a good command of the Office Suite (Access, Word, Excel with advanced functions, PowerPoint) and you are comfortable with numbers.
You demonstrate a strong sensitivity to solidarity actions and volunteer commitment, which is a real asset for the position.
Employment conditions
Status: Apprenticeship or professional training contract
Contract duration: 12 months
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Desired schedule: 2 weeks 1 week
Salary Conditions:
Remuneration based on the legal minimum wage, adjusted according to age and level of education, paid over 13 months.
21 days of RTT (reduced working time, prorated according to attendance).
25 days of paid leave, prorated according to attendance.
Health and welfare coverage: 80% covered by ACF.
Transportation: 50% reimbursement of the flat rate between home and work.
Meal vouchers: 60% covered by the association (value of €8).
€170/year (social activities) and discount on cinema tickets.
Remote work: Open to everyone in mainland France. Our remote work policy governs activities requiring a presence at the association’s headquarters. You can choose to work fully or partially remotely. For this position, a mandatory presence of 4 days per month at headquarters is required, with time dedicated to meetings and team events (3 days per month on average). The first 6 weeks will include 2 mandatory days of presence per week for your integration into the team.
