Background

The War Child Alliance is an international non-governmental organization committed to providing psychosocial support, child protection, youth empowerment programming and quality education to the children affected by armed conflict. We implement evidence-based interventions to empower key stakeholders—including governments, educators, caregivers, and communities—to foster children’s wellbeing, education, and self-determination. We work with global teams with team members being based in different locations. War Child is currently operates in: Afghanistan, the Central African Republic, Colombia, DR Congo, Germany, Jordan, Lebanon, the occupied Palestinian territory, South Sudan, Sweden, Syria, Uganda, Ukraine (soon to be registered), and Yemen. We also have offices in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

War Child Alliance is committed to promoting the wellbeing and mental health of its staff working in challenging and high-risk environments. Given the current operational context in Jordan and Syria, and the increasing need for psychosocial support, War Child seeks to engage qualified service providers to deliver professional psychological support services to staff members.

These services aim to strengthen staff wellbeing, resilience, and coping mechanisms through individual and group counseling sessions, delivered in line with international ethical and professional standards.

How to apply

Applicants shall submit their offers to War Child by sharing the application to the following email address: Procurement.SY_JO@warchild.net

The call for proposals reference (JOR-SY-0035) and company name of the applicant shall be used as the email title.
Offers must be received by War Child no later than May 19th, 2026, as the deadline for submission.

All potential suppliers are required to adhere to the stipulated requirements as part of this RFQ process. Comprehensive documentation is crucial to ensure that WC can evaluate the capacity and capability of each bidder effectively.

Each bid submission must include:

  1. Administrative and Technical Documentation:

Company Credentials:

  • A copy of the company’s official business or legal registration or Individual’s profiles and CVs.
  • Tax registration documentation and clearance, ensuring legal compliance for companies.

Professional Track Record:

  • Details of past services, specifically highlighting experience related to the scope of this RFQ. Please include: Names, email addresses, and contact numbers of at least four (4) clients for whom similar services were rendered including INGOs.

Note: WC retains the right to reach out to provided references for further verification. The bidder will not be informed in advance of these reference checks.

2. Financia Proposal: Attached in an excel sheet (Appendix B)

3. Supplier Declaration of Ethical Code of Conduct filled and signed by the duly authorized person (Appendix A). Can be found in the call for proposal document

NB: Late proposals will not be accepted or reviewed. All proposals will be irrevocable after the Call for Proposals closing date.
