Mission :

You will manage the Technical/Program/Consortium Managers (Action Against Hunger lead) and support the Country Director.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating the definition and implementation of the strategy and ensuring the coordination of the programmatic technical departments;
Contributing to Action Against Hunger’s representation on the technical operational strategy and program implementation;
Supervising the coordination of the consortia led by Action Against Hunger;
Ensuring the monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and documentation of programs, as well as the analysis of humanitarian needs;
Coordinating and supporting the design and implementation of Action Against Hunger’s partnership and localization strategy;
Managing your team

Profile :

You hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in project management or a related field.
You have at least seven years of humanitarian experience, including three years in a similar role or position of comparable responsibility.
You have demonstrated experience in project management and planning, leadership and managing complexity, managing multi-sectoral programs, and program budget management.
You also have experience managing senior staff, managing emergency and development operations, writing project proposals, and coordinating with authorities and consortia. You are familiar with donor procedures and strategies.
You possess strong leadership qualities, integrity, honesty, communication and writing skills, and experience in team management and performance monitoring.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Employment conditions

International Applications:
Fixed-term contract under French law: 7 months.
Gross monthly salary: €2,899 to €3,376 depending on experience, including a 13th-month bonus.
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary.
Base salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract.
Monthly per diem and living expenses: €675 net, paid on-site.
Monthly context allowance: €150.
Child allowance: €1,500 per year per child present in the country of origin (capped at €6,000/year).
Transportation and accommodation: Travel and shared accommodation provided.
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health insurance contributions and repatriation insurance, and your medical expenses for up to one month after the end of your contract.
Salary maintenance provisions (illness, maternity, paternity).
Leave and R&R: 25 days per year. 20 CP and 20 RnR per year; coverage of the ticket with a cap to travel to the chosen break zone, and a flat-rate allowance of 215 euros per RnR.
Support and training.
