Here’s where you come in:

As the Caribbean Cluster Director, you will strategically ensure the impact and relevance of World Vision (WV) in the Cluster formed by Haiti and the Dominican Republic by leading the collaborative integration of the National Offices through establishing and implementing a shared strategic framework. This includes impact, sustainability, external engagement, programming and organisational effectiveness (including risk management and support functions alignment).

This role is responsible for ensuring the leverage of local resources and success for a major impact and developing the Country Leadership Team that performs at a quality standards level.

Requirements include:

  • + 10 years in executive leadership positions in multinationals or international organizations.
  • Master’s degree in Management, Social Sciences or equivalent.
  • Experience in a regional or sub-regional level in one of the major ministries (Relief, Development, Advocacy) and close familiarity with others too.
  • Experience in working with external partners in regional and sub-regional contexts.
  • Experience in coordinating and communicating persuasively with Board, Senior Management Team, staff, donors, NGOs, government officials, community leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in working in fragile or risky contexts; Experience working in Haiti and the Dominican Republic is preferred.
  • High fluent level of professional and technical English and French (or Creole), spoken and written. Proficiency in Spanish.
  • The position requires the ability and willingness to travel nationally and/or internationally up to 25% of the time.
