Call for Concept Notes for Small Grants
Grants for Local Initiatives in Damascus and Rural Damascus
DOZ organization announces the opening of applications for small grants under the project:
“Empowering Syrian Communities in Rural Damascus: Civic Engagement, Leadership, and Social Cohesion for Sustainable Development.”
The project offers two grant tracks:
Track 1: Civic Engagement and Leadership Initiatives
This track aims to strengthen social cohesion through civic participation, leadership, and the empowerment of youth, women, and persons with disabilities.
- Number of grants:Â 10 grants
- Grant value: Up to €2,000
Track 2: Community Development and Service Initiatives
This track aims to strengthen social cohesion through community cooperation, local development, and community-based economic recovery.
- Number of grants:Â 10 grants
- Grant value: Up to €2,500
Target Areas
Sahnaya, Daraya, Douma, Harasta, Zamalka, and Jaramana
Who Can Apply?
- Youth groups
- Women’s initiatives
- Initiatives, groups, and teams led by persons with disabilities
- Informal community groups
- Local associations and organizations
- Local community initiatives

Step 1

Step 2
Carefully read the Small Grants Guidelines and complete the project application form by describing your proposed initiative or project and providing an estimated budget.
Step 3
Submit your completed application package, along with a copy of your registration certificate (if you are a registered group, association, team, institution, or organization in Syria), through the following link:
