Founded in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights hunger worldwide. Its charter of humanitarian principles—independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, and transparency—has defined its identity for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies related to conflicts and natural disasters. Mission :
We are looking for an intern to support the pool and missions in monitoring projects and ensuring the smooth flow of information within the Asia pool and externally through the following tasks:
Supporting the pool and missions in project contract management and reporting;
Supporting missions and participating in the production of operational data compilations (Activity Progress Reports – APRs, etc.);
At the request of the Program Support Officer or the pool, providing support in monitoring contracts and reporting deadlines;
Upon request, supporting the pool and missions in the preparation, review, and submission of donor and equity reports, project proposals, contracts, etc.;
Providing support to missions and the pool on mission-related matters (administrative files, translations, etc.);
In conjunction with the Project Coordination Unit (PCU), monitoring and facilitating the submission of monthly APRs (narrative and quantitative), archiving them, and forwarding them to the Operational Technical Advisors.
Facilitate the exchange of information within the pool, with missions and with other departments at ACF Headquarters.
Draft meeting minutes (pool, country strategy, etc.), have them validated and distribute them.
Draft internal and external communication documents concerning missions and have them validated by the Regional Director of Operations (mission points, country sheets of the Activity Report, etc.).
Make purchase requests necessary for the operation of the pool desk (supplies, business cards, etc.).
Archive original documents (project proposals, financing contracts, amendments, reports, etc.) by country and by donor in paper and electronic format as well as any other useful document.
In conjunction with the Programme Support Officer, participate in the organisation and completion of key documents on the international collaborative platform No Hunger Forum.
With the support of the CAP, participate in the implementation of cross-cutting projects at the pool level (project monitoring document and reporting deadlines for all missions, ways of working between the pool and the missions, etc.).
Profile :
We are looking for a candidate who shares our commitment and possesses the following qualities:
You are currently in your second year of a Master’s program and have advanced training in project management or international solidarity. You have already gained experience working in a team as well as experience in the non-profit sector and/or internationally.
You are known for your writing and organizational skills, your autonomy, and your ability to remain calm in the face of difficulties. Furthermore, you are proficient in Microsoft Office.
Finally, in an international and multicultural work environment, you demonstrate excellent command of English, both written and spoken, in order to interact effectively with a variety of interlocutors.
Employment conditions
Mandatory Condition: Must have a valid internship agreement issued by a French educational institution.
Internship Duration: 6 months (based in Montreuil, 102 rue de Paris).
Desired Contract Start Date: October 5, 2026
Salary Conditions:
Paid internship at €4.57 net per hour (based on a 35-hour week).
Weekly working hours (38.75 hours).
Meal vouchers worth €8 (60% covered by ACF).
50% reimbursement of public transport costs.
