Amal Healing and Advocacy Center (AHAC) is seeking a qualified individual consultant, consultancy team, or firm to strengthen its programming under the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda across Türkiye and Syria.

The selected consultant/team will:

  • Review AHAC’s existing portfolio against UNSCR 1325 and related WPS resolutions.
  • Identify key strengths, gaps, and opportunities for stronger WPS integration.
  • Facilitate two participatory working sessions with AHAC’s programme team.
  • Develop a concise WPS Positioning Paper defining AHAC’s institutional role and comparative advantage.
  • Develop a practical WPS Programming Framework identifying priority areas and concrete programming entry points for Türkiye and Syria.
  • Provide practical recommendations to support future programme and proposal development.

The assignment is expected to be completed within approximately 6–8 weeks.

Applicants should have demonstrated experience in WPS, gender-responsive programming, women’s rights, peacebuilding, protection, or related areas, with strong analytical, facilitation, and writing skills. Experience related to Syria, Türkiye, Syrian civil society, women-led organizations, or refugee-led organizations is considered an advantage.

The Amal Center for Advocacy and Recovery (AHAC) is seeking an individual consultant, a consulting team, or a qualified consulting entity to support the development of its programs within the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda in Turkey and Syria.

The selected consultant/team will do the following:

  • Reviewing the portfolio of programs of the Amal Center in accordance with Security Council Resolution 1325 and the resolutions related to the Women, Peace and Security agenda .
  • Identifying strengths, gaps, and opportunities to enhance the integration of the Women, Peace and Security agenda into programs.
  • Facilitating two collaborative working sessions with the center’s program team.
  • Preparing an institutional positioning paper that defines the role of the Amal Center and its comparative advantage within the Women, Peace and Security agenda.
  • Developing a practical software framework that identifies priority areas and future intervention approaches in Turkey and Syria.
  • Providing practical recommendations to support the development of future programs and proposals.

The mission is expected to be completed in approximately 6–8 weeks .

The applicant must have proven experience in women, peace and security, gender-responsive programming, women’s rights, peacebuilding, protection, or related fields, with strong analytical, facilitation, and writing skills. Experience related to Syria, Turkey, Syrian civil society, women-led organizations, or refugees is an asset.
