CHURCH AND COMMUNITY MOBILIZATION COORDINATOR ( CCM ) At Living Water International

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

Develop, implement, monitor, and communicate the impacts of strategies on Church and Community mobilization for WASH focused transformation as contained in the “Flower” document. Support local churches to work with communities in taking effective actions in water, sanitation and hygiene programs as an expression of the integral mission of the Church; and strengthen effective discipleship strategies for offices and partners. Promote Kingdom-oriented relationships between church and ministry partners for effective networking for the common good through expressions of holistic mission and WASH. EXPERIENCE / ACADEMIC TRAINING

• Bachelor’s Degree in Theology/Business Administration/Social Studies or a related field.
• Proven experience working with churches and organizations to develop strategic missions
• Four (4) or more years of experience working as a Project Manager or in a relevant Management position.
• Experience and a high degree of discernment around the promotion, equipping and ongoing encouragement of the practice of integral mission at the local church level.

BUSINESS SKILLS AND GENERAL SKILLS

• Knowledge and application of tools and methods that support the mobilization of the Church and the Community
• Skills to communicate the transformation stories (most significant stories) and promote the Flourish model among staff, partners, strategic network alliances, etc.
• Microsoft, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Understanding and practicing integral mission
• English language skills at an advanced level.
• Coordination, facilitation and people management skills
• Public relations
