The Venezuelan Red Cross (CRV) is a humanitarian organization whose mandate is to save lives and improve the conditions of vulnerable people. As part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, it provides timely assistance in emergencies, disasters, and other humanitarian crises.

General Safeguarding Responsibility
The person holding the position must promote and respect the Safeguarding standards of the Venezuelan Red Cross, comply with the Code of Conduct and applicable policies, maintain appropriate professional boundaries, contribute to preventing harm, and immediately report any Safeguarding concerns through established mechanisms.

What is expected from this consultancy? Key functions / Responsibilities
The Human Resources Assistant will have the main responsibility of providing operational, administrative and logistical support to the Organizational Development Directorate and the Human Talent Management area in the deployment, execution and continuous maintenance of the personnel life cycle processes.
Key Functions / Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Selection Support:Â Assisting in the publication of vacancies on official channels, receiving and initial screening of resumes, scheduling candidates for interviews, and assisting in the application of psychometric or operational tests.
- File Management and Admission:Â Request, verify, organize and keep up-to-date the physical and digital files of administrative and operational staff, ensuring the strict confidentiality of the information.
- Attendance and Incident Control:Â Keeping the daily record and monitoring of attendance, medical leave, vacations, permits and incidents of the staff for timely reporting to payroll.
- Staff Support and Administrative Procedures:Â Prepare work certificates, institutional letters, channel staff queries and keep human talent databases updated.
- Training Logistics:Â Assist in logistical organization, control of attendance lists and preparation of material for workshops, training sessions and institutional well-being activities.
To qualify as an operational support person in the humanitarian system, the applicant must meet the following requirements:
- Academic Background:Â Higher University Technician (TSU) or Professional / Advanced student in Industrial Relations, Human Resources Administration, Organizational Psychology or related fields.
- Experience:Â Minimum 1 to 2 years of verifiable experience in operational and administrative human resources processes, preferably in the humanitarian sector, NGOs or third sector.
- Technical Skills:
- Intermediate proficiency in office automation tools (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Practical knowledge of the LOTTT and current labor regulations in Venezuela.
- Capacity and experience in the organization, filing and confidential custody of employment records.
- Soft Skills:Â Excellent interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, high ethical sense, discretion, confidentiality, and ability to work in a team.
