Arts, Crafts and Technical volunteers At Indigo Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers with experience in different manual labour and creative roles willing to support displaced people by organising workshops and teach participants new skills.

Depending on your set of skills and interests, you can get involved in:

  • facilitating departments of carpentry, construction, electrical engineering, cooking, sewing, phone repair, bike repair, gardening and metal work,
  • or organising a brand-new workshop!
  • overseeing and maintaining stock and inventory,
  • organizing purchasing of missing material and spare parts,
  • and ensuring all participants have a chance to unfold their potential.

Requirements:

  • availability for at least 6 weeks;
  • minimum age 20;
  • experience in art/craft/manual labour;
  • desire to teach others.

Benefits:

  • opportunity to gain valuable experience working in the field;
  • subsidised or free accommodation, meals and/or a small stipend can be provided, depending on the length of the stay.
