Salary: £20,784 per annum based on 35 hours per week
Do you care about the British Red Cross cause and have the skills and knowledge to promote our shop in your community as the charity retailer of choice?
If so, you could be the Shop Manager for our friendly charity shop in Llanelli. With retail supervisory experience and an ability to get the best out of an amazing team, you will be responsible for the smooth running of a busy, profitable charity shop in the heart of your local community.

Your role as a Shop Manager will involve:

Running a profitable, customer-focussed shop that is the ‘window of the British Red Cross’ on the high street. From working on the shop floor, to coordinating activity “behind the scenes”, no two days are the same.
Creating a brilliant shopping environment and provide an excellent customer experience in store.
Overseeing a team of dedicated volunteers, supporting their induction, management, and development.

To be a successful Shop Manager, you’ll need:

Retail experience at supervisory level. With proven management skills, you know how to organise, develop and inspire your team.
To deliver outstanding customer service and be comfortable with cash handling.
To be commercially savvy with a good understanding of financial targets and measures, using your initiative to achieve fantastic results.
Proven IT skills.
To be flexible (Shop hours are Monday to Sunday 9am – 5pm)
