Research assistant at GeoAnalytics Center

Project dates: 23/05/2021 to 01/08/2021.

Place: Remote.

Job description: The GeoAnalytics Center is conducting research to support the expansion of digital currencies in developing markets. The digital currencies research assistant will support GeoA’s activities by conducting basic research on the actors that define the expansion of digital currencies in developing countries. The assistant will engage in direct contact with identified organizations and individuals on behalf of the project. Additionally, he/she will contribute to report writing, reporting the results of senior level meetings and other project needs. The workload amounts to a 50 to 100% position during the indicated project dates, pending negotiation. The position requires business hours availability for consultation calls and any other duties as the project requires.

Reports to: Research Lead.

Experience: Initial experience as a researcher or professional in digital currencies markets or related industries, preferably in developing countries. We value entrepreneurship and speaking-presentation skills.

Languages: English. French is a strong advantage. Spanish is a strong advantage. Any other language is an advantage.

Education: Degree in business administration, marketing, or development studies.
