Project Support Assistant (part-time) At Danish Refugee Council

DRC Poland is looking for qualified and enthusiastic professionals to be part of the mobile protection monitoring team in Mazovian voivodship. Under the supervision of the protection monitoring manager, and in close collaboration with the protection officer, Project Support Assistant will be office based, providing administrative support to the protection monitoring team in Warsaw, and will support the implementation of DRC’s protection objectives and activities to provide timely and effective protection to persons of concern under DRC project.

Responsibilities:

  • Support protection officers in liaising with local authorities, service providers and humanitarian actors to identify locations where protection monitoring would be conducted, introduce the project and secure access to monitoring sites.
  • Support organizing data collection activities for protection monitoring.
  • Establish communication with stakeholders in the region to carry out project activities as advised by Protection Project Manager.
  • Plan and support procurement processes for the project following DRC guidelines.
  • Support procurement processes through raising purchase requisitions and facilitating low value procurements.
  • Contribute to processing and storing documents related to the project in line with DRC data responsibility and data protection policies.
  • Draft documents and reports as per project’s needs.
  • Assist the project team with translation Polish-English, and if possible Ukrainian- English/Polish.
  • Carry out other administrative tasks and other basic tasks related to project implementation and quality monitoring (e.g. data collection, focus group discussion, etc.)

Experience and technical competencies:

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in an NGO.
  • Strong computer/digital skills.
  • Very good oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in Polish language and strong English language skillsGood command of Ukrainian desired.
  • Education:

    Diploma or equivalent professional qualification.

We Offer

Contract: (Full-time) Definite Employment Contract.

Contract length: until December 31st, 2023

Band: I

Base salary range: from 7,505 to 8,280 PLN gross per month, based on experience. (please note that the range is for the full-time. The actual salary will be calculated proportionally, based on the exact working time).

Duty station: Warsaw.

Start date: ASAP.
