ALIMA promotes and defends the principles of fundamental human rights. ALIMA has a zero tolerance approach towards those guilty of acts of gender-based and sexual violence as well as towards inaction in the face of alleged or proven acts of violence. The protection of those benefiting and impacted by our intervention is our top priority in everything we do. Anyone collaborating with ALIMA undertakes to :
- Respect the charter, the code of conduct, institutional policies including the policy of protection against abuse of power and gender-based and sexual violence, the policy for the prevention of corruption and fraud ;

SING – INNOVER – TOGETHER :Since its creation in 2009, ALIMA has treated more than 10 million patients, and is now operating in 12 African countries. In 2021, we developed more than 60 humanitarian medical response projects to meet the needs of people affected by conflict, epidemics and extreme poverty. All of these projects are carried out in support of national health authorities through nearly 357 health structures ( including 45 hospitals and 312 health centers ). We work in partnership, especially with local NGOs, as soon as possible to ensure that our patients benefit from the expertise where it is located, whether at the level of their country or the rest of the world. In addition, to improve the humanitarian response, we are carrying out operational and clinical research projects,in particular to fight against malnutrition and viral haemorrhagic fevers.
THE ALIMA TEAM :More than 2,000 people are currently working for ALIMA. Field teams, as close as possible to the patients, receive their support from coordination teams generally based in the capital of the intervention countries. These are supported by the 4 desk teams and the emergency service team and openings based at the operational headquarters in Dakar, Senegal. The Paris and New York teams are actively working on fundraising as well as representing ALIMA. The rest of the ALIMA Galaxy includes individuals and partner teams working on behalf of other organizations such as the medical NGOs BEFEN, Health Alert, SOS Doctors, KEOOGO, AMCP-SP, PAC-CI, Inserm, the Universities of Bordeaux or Copenhagen, the NGO Solidarités International and many others.

TYPOLOGY OF THE POST
CONTEXT OF THE PROJECT :
Since 2015, the escalation of violence in Burkina Faso has led to an unprecedented deterioration in the country’s humanitarian situation. In 2023, OCHA estimates that more than 3.5 million people will need humanitarian aid in the 6 priority regions. The current crisis in Burkina Faso is by far the greatest protection crisis of the Sahel Center ( Mali, Niger and Burkina ). Of the 2.5 million internally displaced persons due to conflicts and violence in the sub-region, 72% ( 1.8 million ) are in Burkina Faso.
According to the National Emergency Relief Council ( CONASUR ) as of November 30, 2022, Burkina Faso has 1,810,105 internally displaced persons, an increase of 68.3% compared to 31/12/2020 ( 1,074,993 ). The most affected regions remain the Sahel with 496,964 ( 27.5% ), the Center-North with 469,000 ( 25.9% ) and the North with 249,727 ( 13.8% ).
Faced with the increase in the nutritional needs of the host and displaced populations, ALIMA intervenes in the health districts of Tougouri, Barsalogho, Thiou, Kaya, Kongoussi, Titao, Ouahigouya and Ouagadougou.

PROTECTION OF BENEFICIARIES AND MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY
Level 3: As part of his duties, the incumbent will be required to visit the programs and be in contact with vulnerable children or / and adults. MAIN MISSION
Under the supervision of the Head of Mission, the Responsible for Relations Bailors is responsible for the implementation of the financing strategy in connection with the ALIMA country action plan.
More specifically, it is responsible for mobilizing funding that will allow the implementation of projects. He · She maintains regular relations with donors, and conducts an active search for funding. He is the guarantor or guarantor of the drafting of project proposals and reports to donors. It · It supports the monitoring of contractual donor indicators, in collaboration with the Project Coordinators and the Medical Coordinator.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Definition and monitoring of the country financing strategy
The.Link Relations Manager performs an analysis of the donor strategy and the availability of funding for the country concerned, in order to maintain a high level of information and understanding of the issues. It identifies the funding needs for the mission in collaboration with the coordination team and proposes a funding strategy relevant to the mission. It assesses the challenges and proposes the adaptation of the strategy according to the country’s operational action plan. During the mission, the.Link Relations Manager monitors the funding strategy and adapts it according to changing needs. In connection with the Head of Mission and the Referent.e Bailors at headquarters, he supports the design and implementation of a’acquisition of grants and resource mobilization
- Maintaining the relationship with donors
In connection with the Head of Mission, he · she provides representation to donors and negotiates funding for ALIMA projects. It maintains relations with the donors who finance the projects to ensure regular quality communication. It coordinates the donor visit to projects when the security situation allows, with the support of the Head of Mission.
- Funding research
Le.la Responsible Relations Bailors, in support of the Head of Mission, conducts an active search for funding and identifies the new donors to be approached in order to ensure the good knowledge of ALIMA and the projects implemented by its actors. It actively monitors the thematic priorities of donors and funding mechanisms in the country. It does donor mapping and information gathering, and regularly informs country coordination on this subject. It develops project sheets and brochures to ensure institutional communication throughout the year
- Support for operational planning in connection with donor priorities
The.Link Relations Manager supports the Project Coordinators and the coordination team in the design of interventions related to the donor strategy. It ensures that the interventions are aligned with the thematic and operational priorities of the donors, and that the bids respect the formats required by them.
- Production of note concepts and project proposals
In order to obtain funding, the.Linker Relations Manager is responsible for submitting notes and project proposals concepts within the deadlines imposed by donors. He and she writes project documents to respond to opportunities with donors. It guarantees the quality and conformity of the documents produced.
- Disseminate key information on donor procedures, financing contracts and support Project Coordinators in monitoring contractual requirements
The.Link Relations Manager is responsible for updating the coordination team on donor guidelines. It continuously informs teams of the evolution of donor procedures and requirements. In addition, the Bailors Relations Manager supports Project Coordinator in monitoring donor contractual requirements. The.Lesson Relations Bailors Manager monitors operational developments, including budgetary developments, in order to propose contractual modifications if necessary.
- Data tracking to meet reporting requirements
The.Lessons Relations Bailors manager develops and incorporates solid elements of monitoring and follow-up in the reports in the project monitoring tools and he therefore participates, with the Data Manager and the Medical Coordinator, monitoring and compiling operational data. It ensures that data monitoring tools are updated in connection with financing contracts, and anticipates the deadlines for reports to ensure completeness of the data and quality analysis.
- Ensure the production of precise and analytical narrative reports within the defined deadlines
The.Link Relations Manager is responsible for preparing interim and final reports for donors, in accordance with the formats and reporting rules imposed. He is directly responsible for drafting documents, on the basis of precise, quantitative and qualitative information and capitalized during the year. It establishes a regular link with the Project Coordinators and project managers and, for the preparation of reports, makes the link between the commitments to the lessor and the reality of projects and land. He ensures compliance with deadlines and is responsible for the quality of reports.
- Ensure contractual management of financing contracts
The.Lesson Relations Bailors Manager is responsible for monitoring financing contracts with donors. He · She is in direct contact with the national representatives of the lessor for questions of contractual management. He · She makes sure to know and respect the lessor’s procedures and that those ‐ these are known to the rest of the team. For this, it has a common contract monitoring tool which it helps to update.
- Ensure the application of standards in prevention against abuse
The Bailors Relations Manager must participate in training and awareness sessions. It · It applies the standards relating to prevention against abuse in all the tasks it undertakes ( ex: addition of the theme in the reports, project proposals, abuse prevention clause, etc. ). It helps to create and maintain a fulfilling and protective environment.
EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
- Higher education diploma ( Master level or equivalent ) in connection with the item ( development studies, public health, international relations, project management … )
- Excellent level of English and French, oral and written
- Good command of project management tools ( project cycle, logical framework, project proposal, reporting, etc. )
- Professional experience in reporting, project design and / or management of at least one year, as well as field experience.
- Excellent analytical, synthesis and editorial skills
- Autonomy, capacity for initiative, ease of working in a team and communicating
- Rigor, motivation, will to achieve project support objectives
- Understanding and adhering to the values and mission of ALIMA
CONDITIONS
Type of contract : French law CDD

Salary : According to ALIMA salary grid ( level 10 ) + promotion of the experience + Perdiem
ALIMA supports :
- Travel costs between the country of origin of the expatriate and the place of mission
- Accommodation costs
- Medical coverage from the first day of the contract to one month after the date of departure from the country of mission for the employee and his dependents
