Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Rehabilitation (Developmental Disorders) M/F At Doctors Without Borders

Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian medical association created in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened: mainly in cases of armed conflict, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters or exclusion from care.

The opening of this position is as part of a permanent replacement.

Context

In mid-2023, the MSF Foundation launched a project to develop rehabilitation services within the MSF movement. Its aim is to provide support and expertise to missions wishing to expand their rehabilitation care offerings in four areas: pediatric rehabilitation, women’s health, burn care, and 3D-assisted orthotics. For these different care categories, we offer to assess needs, define objectives, and assist in the implementation and monitoring of these projects, primarily within MSF missions.

As part of the development of pediatric rehabilitation activities, the activities of this position will focus, but are not limited to, the fields of pediatric neurology and neuromotor developmental disorders in children in the context of malnutrition and epidemics. A cross-cutting approach to other areas of pediatric rehabilitation is necessary to address other field needs in collaboration with other rehabilitation specialists.
