Doctors of the World is the German section of the international humanitarian organization Médecins du Monde / Doctors of the World. Doctors around the world are committed to ensuring that all people everywhere can exercise their right to health – with medical help and political work.

The department „ International Programs “ currently consists of a team of seven, which is responsible for the financing and administrative implementation of projects in the network as well as for the support of humanitarian aid projects implemented by doctors around the world.

We are looking for an appointment as soon as possible Speaker * in international programs to support selected projects in the MdM network.

The full-time position ( 40 hours per week ) is located in the office in Munich and is initially limited to 2 years with the option of a grace period afterwards.

YOUR FUTURE TASKS

  • In cooperation with the MdM network partners, you prepare project applications and submit them to donors; Contract management and the handling of projects financed by third-party funds are also part of your tasks.
  • They accompany the projects in terms of content and administration in close coordination with the respective MdM network partners and in accordance with international standards and donor guidelines.
  • They ensure regular reporting and information exchange between all parties involved.
  • They ensure compliance with the donor guidelines in the network and conduct appropriate training courses.
  • They support the strategic direction of the projects financed by MdM Germany in cooperation with other sections of the MdM network.
  • You check the ( Financial ) Reporting to donors according to specific guidelines.
  • They prepare the necessary information and coordinate it with the institutional donors for the MdM network
  • They support the development of quality assurance measures.

YOUR PROFILE

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a completed ( subject ) university degree in a relevant subject or a comparable relevant training.
  • You have worked for international aid organizations in the area of project management for at least 3 years.
  • You have proven experience in handling projects financed by third-party funds ( e.g. AA, BMZ, ECHO ).
  • You have project experience in humanitarian / EZ contexts abroad.
  • You have secure IT skills ( MS Office package, databases ).
  • You have a good knowledge of German and your English language skills are reliable; Knowledge of French is an advantage.
