Switchboard is seeking a Digital Inclusion Manager, for Switchboard, an Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR)-funded program. Switchboard is a one-stop resource hub for refugee service providers in the United States. Switchboard provides training and capacity-building services to ORR-funded refugee service providers in the United States, including resettlement agencies and affiliates, state agencies, ethnic community-based organizations, and others. The Digital Inclusion Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of capacity-building initiatives related to digital inclusion in resettlement and integration services. Focus areas will include digital inclusion and digital access.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Together with Training Officer for Emerging Technologies, develop and deliver training related to digital inclusion: webinars, self-paced e-learning, online certificate courses, etc.
  • Together with Switchboard’s training staff, provide consultation, guidance, and recommended resources in response to questions and technical assistance requests.
  • Research and recommend digital inclusion resources and best practices that Switchboard can develop into relevant learning resources such as information guides, blog posts, podcasts, videos, etc.
  • Participate and contribute to digital inclusion communities of practice and other private, public, and community-based alliances, such as the National Digital Inclusion Alliance.
  • Contribute to needs assessment analysis process to ensure feedback on digital content is collected and incorporated into Switchboard’s annual workplan.
  • Provide input into Switchboard reports, including monthly activity updates and semi-annual Performance Progress Reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum two years of experience providing training and technical assistance to build capacity of refugee service providers
  • Experience developing and delivering engaging remote trainings using webinar platforms such as Zoom
  • Strong familiarity with relevant Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR)-funded programs
  • Experience contributing to project M&E (data collection, management, and reporting)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage complex projects with strict timelines

Working Environment: Standard office and/or remote working environment. This role may require working remotely full or part time and part time remote employees may be required to share workspace.

Compensation: Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
