Job Purpose
As the Interim Head of IT Systems at Amnesty International Secretariat, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and management of our Business Systems. You will play a pivotal role in aligning our IT Strategies, Business Systems, and Business Intelligence ensuring that our Technology Solutions are efficient, secure, and scalable.
You will own the smooth transition of Business Platforms into the production environments, leading and managing virtual project team members through project deployments and ongoing operations.
About you
We are recruiting a talented candidate, who can align IT initiatives with the organisation’s overall business goals and can produce a step-change in specific areas of functional maturity.
The successful candidate will have outstanding problem-solving skills in identifying and addressing complex IT challenges. The candidate must be fluent in English through written and verbally.
Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with colleagues and the business, helping to shape the functional and non-functional requirements to ensure that Amnesty gains the highest value from the platforms they have invested in.
- Transition delivery: partners with the project manager, business analyst, data engineers, test leads, reporting resources and third parties, and guides virtual project teams to deliver a smooth transition into operation.
- Budgeting: manages the budget for D365, including ownership for annual licencing, managed services, ongoing support and staff working with the platform.
- Providing vision, direction and leadership to the support and technical platform teams and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of applications.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated success in managing and releasing platform enhancements that meet and exceed business objectives.
- Involvement in designing and overseeing the implementation and ongoing support of Integrations with D365, iHCM solutions and other Business Systems.
- Has working knowledge of M365 platform and technologies.
- Able to simplify the detailed technical and process information to.
- Experience and development of Jira, including Confluence Knowledge Base.
